What is CMS QCOR?
QCOR stands for Quality, Certification and Oversight Reports. It is the official CMS system at qcor.cms.gov that publishes information for evaluating laboratory performance, including a listing of CLIA laboratories certified by HHS. For each lab it shows the CLIA number, facility name and address, where the laboratory testing is performed, the type of CLIA certificate, and the date the certificate expires. Is the QCOR Laboratory Registry the same as the QCOR CLIA lab lookup?
No — they answer different questions. The demographic lookup returns a lab's identity and certificate fields. The CMS Laboratory Registry is the adverse-action record: laboratories convicted under federal or state fraud-and-abuse laws, laboratories whose CLIA certificates were suspended, limited, or revoked together with the reasons for those actions, and persons convicted of violating CLIA requirements.
